"Makes its more ornate competitors feel needlessly garnished" - New York Times

rymdkapsel is a meditative strategy game set in space. Take on the challenge of building the best possible station by commanding your minions and exploring the galaxy around you.Imagine a strategy game where you dont have to worry about selecting units or mounting attacks on your enemies, but rather can focus on building the best base possible. Thats what rymdkapsel is all about."Rymdkapsel feels tailor-made for iOS in both form and function, and its elegant, subtle constituent parts nest within one another as neatly as its four-block tetrominos snap together along a space station corridor."- 5/5 stars, Joseph Leray, toucharcade.com"Some games nearly make me miss my subway stop. Some games tempt me to keep on playing them while Im walking down the street. This is one of them." - Stephen Totilo, kotaku.com"The game punishes the greedy, and rewards the prudent. If you’re attentive, you’ll notice that there’s actually a happy medium between the two: optimal efficiency."- Ryan Rigney, wired.co.uk"Rymdkapsel combines spatial puzzling, tower defence and base-building into a brilliantly coherent and stylish whole." - Christian Donlan, eurogamer.netAdds support for new device sizes, split screen and various other improvements.

It's ok. The first few rounds are fun, but after that, they keep going faster until it is literally impossible to keep up. And the other modes don't really add anything new.

Get little game takes some time to get good

Great gameplay but limited scenarios, so there isn't much to keep your interest.

Good game needs endless mode more research idk not my job to come up with lacks content

Tyger Burrington

5 stars for excellent gameplay/design, but minus 2 because it's hard to justify the price for the amount of content. With only one scenario, there's little to do after learning the mechanics. I beat the game in two rounds (~1.5 hours), and the hard/zen modes don't add anything interesting.

I Played this game upon its first release and had forgotten the name and was unable to find it for years, till I found it in the premium puzzles tab, so happy to be playing again

Scratches that resource management itch but ultimately pretty short and not much to do with it after you complete it.

This is a good game, makes you think a bit. It's got a zen element to it also but I'd say macro management is the focus. It's a little different each time, and the struggle to completion is worthy of anyone's skill level. Should be enjoyable to most people. I would say it's a little slow, which is probably why I haven't gone back to it for a bit. But I was hooked and determined to keep playing when I first downloaded it. You'd be pretty hard pressed to find something truly bad about the game.

Nice idea, but horrible UX. Minions are stupid, do not communicate to each other. Progress bar is misleading, its speed is changing. As far as minions are stupid you can't help them by temporary freezing buildings. You don't see wave number until it hits you. There is a mission to research all islands in 45 minutes, but there is no timer. In the 16th wave you mine all resources, so you can't build anything. Please add "start next wave" button. And what was the goal?
